We actively invite cricketers of all ages and abilities to join the South Island branch and join in the fun and camaraderie of top class, social cricket. This opportunity has a number of benefits associated with it.
The first is to play occasional Sunday cricket against teams composed in part of veteran regional and nation players. Chris Cairns, and Harris, or David Bull to name a few have been played against at the picturesque Willows ground. Furthermore many well-known players both past and present have been seen in our colours, such as John Reid, Bob Cunis, Walter and Richard Hadlee, Trevor Franklin, and Aaron Gale, Jim Laker etc.
